Kohei Iwahara, an economist based in Tokyo covering Japan, joined Natixis in Hong Kong in 2011. At Legg Mason, a US asset management firm in Tokyo and Hong Kong, Kohei was a portfolio manager for multi-asset class products and a strategist responsible for developing research on global tactical asset allocation. Prior to this, he conducted research on the Japanese economy at investment banks in Tokyo.
