China warned on Tuesday that it will take action against the United States and Canada if Washington goes ahead with a demand for the extradition of a senior Huawei executive.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying made the warning after Canada’s ambassador to the US said Washington plans to proceed with a formal request to extradite Huawei chief financial officer Meng Wanzhou.
